Davis Competition

Hello Everyone,

This Saturday we will be having practice in the morning from 10- 11:30. Please be there to pick your girls up right at 11:30 so they can get home and have enough time to get ready for the competition that evening.

The competition is being held at Davis High School. We will be meeting at American Fork High School at 1:45. Please have your daughter there on time. If  she isn't there on time the bus will leave and you will need to bring her up to the show. The girls will need to have their hair and make up done and their uniforms on when they arrive at the high school. They will be staying for the entire show so make sure that they have plenty of snacks and stuff or money to buy treats. We will be arriving home around 10:45 so make sure you are there to pick your daughter up from the school around this time.

In turn, if you plan on taking your daughter please let me know so we aren't worried about her not being at the high school. The address for Davis is 325 S. Main
Kaysville, UT 84037. If you are taking your daughter please have her there by 3:15 at the latest. Also if you could let me know if she is riding home with you as well that would be fantastic.

If you are interested in helping at this competition please let Leslie Cleavland know. She would love for your help! clevl405@alpine.k12.ut.us

Thank you!

Pictures.

We will be getting our Guard pictures taken on April 5th at 4:15 pm. This is after the season is over. But it is mandatory for everyone to be there!

The cost is $15 and that will get you a 5x7 group picture as well as 1-2 individual pictures if you would like to purchase them. If not that is okay too.

So mark your calenders for this date!

March 12th competition

Hello everyone,

This Saturday is our home competition! I hope that you can all make it over to the high school to watch your girls perform.

Their performance time is 4:14 pm. They will need to meet Adrienne and I at the high school at 2:30 pm. Please have them there on time. Their hair and make up will need to be done at this time.
We will only be practicing that morning from 10-11:30. This means we are ending early. Please be there to pick your girls up so they have enough time to go home and have enough time to get ready before returning to the high school.

Since it is so close to home, your girls are welcome to stay and watch or play activities with Leslie, our guard mom, or they can go home after they perform. If you are taking your daughter home please let either me, Adrienne, or Leslie know so we can keep track of everyone. We are also needing someone to volunteer to help Leslie with keeping track of the girls. If you are interested please e-mail her and let her know clevl405@alpine.k12.ut.us

Thank  you so much for all that you do!

Hi Everyone,

We are still planning on attending the Bear River Show today - I am hoping to send one bus home after the B Guards performance (around 5:30pm). The kids that will go home early will be the B Guard and Wasatch Academy. Parents, please plan on this change. Our projective time to arrive home for those 2 guards will be 8pm.

Bear River

Hello Everyone,

For this saturday, we will be practicing from 10 to 11:15 in the morning. Please be there to pick your daughter up at this time.

They will then need to return to the high school at 1 pm. Their hair and make up needs to be done at this time. Please do not be late or the buses may leave your daughter and you will need to drive them up there.

Our competition is at Bear River High School. The adress is 1450 S. Main Street, Garland, UT. We perform at 4:14 pm. We won't return back to American Fork until Midnight or possibly later.  So plan on picking up your girls around then.

If you would like to drive your daughter home from the competition make sure you either tell Myself, Adrienne, or Leslie Cleavland.

Also, Leslie Cleavland needs some help with the girls on saturday while at the show. She has prepared a box of crafts and other things for the girls to do while we wait for awards. If you are interested in helping her out please email her ASAP and let her know. Her email is clevl405@alpine.k12.ut.us.

Thank you so much!
If you have any questions at all, feel free to ask.

Family Night Fundrasier

Hello Students and Parents,

Just some information regarding our family night fundraiser. It is being held on February 18th starting at 6pm. YOU MUST HAVE A TICKET TO GET IN. We have tickets for you to sell and will be handing them out tomorrow and Wednesday at practice. Students, PLEASE make sure to not lose the tickets! Whatever tickets you don't sell, you will need to turn back in or you will be charged for those tickets. Here's how the ticket sells work:

You are required to sell 5 adult and 5 child tickets. Anything above that that you sell will go towards your fees. The tickets are $5 for adults and $3 for children ages 3-12. This gets you into the show as well as a spaghetti dinner. Also, if you know people who just want to come to the show, it is $2 at the door.

If you have any questions regarding the fundraiser, please contact Terelyn Carter.

Thank you,

Saturdays Camp

Just a reminder for everyone!

We will not be attending the show on saturday. We feel like we are not prepared to be there!

Instead we are having our camp to finish up and clean the show. This will go from 10 am until 2 pm. Have your girls eat a good breakfast in the morning and bring lots of snacks to get them through the day!

Evaluation Show

Hello Everyone,

Just a reminder about things that are going on this Saturday. Your girls need to be there at 7:50 am. Please have them there on time! We need to be checked in by 8.

They need to be in all black and it is understandable if you don't have all black just wear the darkest color you have. Or you can take a black shirt and turn in inside out. Their hair needs to be pulled up and out of their faces.

We are practicing after we perform for just a little while. We will most likely be done by 10:30.

I am excited to see how they do!!

Changes!

Sorry! There has been a change to the last post.

We will not be sewing our flags in the 22. Our date will be the 29 in the band room. But you are more then welcome to come and help with the other groups if you would like to!

Thank you for everything!!

Thing Coming Up!

Hello Parents,

We are in need of some help the next two weeks - here is a list of what we have going on:

Saturday, January 15th we will be painting 3 floors. We will be starting at noon at the high school. We would love to have you there to help. For more information, contact Troy Mace.
Saturday, January 22nd will be our first sewing day. We will start at 9 am and go until 2pm. We will meet in the old band room. Please bring sewing machines, sergers, scissors, etc. We will be sewing flags for 4 groups so we'd love to see you there.
Saturday, January 29th will be our last sewing day. Same time, same place.

Let me know if you have any questions. We hope to see you this weekend.
Thank you!!

The Show

I just would like to say that I am so proud of all of these girls! They are doing AMAZING. The show is coming along and we almost have all of our drill done! They are such hard workers and I am grateful for each day that I get to spend with them!

Just thought I would give you all an update on how things are progressing.
